Welcome to this programme.
In this submission call, many proposals caught my attention: Quynh Nguyen's interest in her family photographs; Zlinh's focus on the national identity of Vietnam; Roky's desire to look into the melting pot culture of Saigon; Thien Huong's idea of photographing people at the local bus stops; Dang Hoang Anh's cataloguing of kitchens in Vietnam; Cuong Do Manh's intimate portrayal of a pair of albino twin brothers; Anh Dung's desire to capture the street life in Saigon; Bang Duong's search for the expression of joy on the streets; and Nam Nghiem's determination to think through the medium of photography using theories.
Given the diversity of the proposals, I am sure we will have an amazing workshop.
We would like to inform of the financial support. After having carefully reviewed all the proposals (we have three proposals to ask for financial support) in all aspects, from the conceptual to the geographical, we have come to the final decision which is to separate the fund into two parts (50 USD each) and give these to two proposals of Hoàng Anh ( from Hue city) and Do Manh Cuong (from Hanoi)
