As written in #1 announcement of ZeroStation ( click to this link to read it:http://www.zerostationvn.org/home.php?id=43), in the second year of operating, besides regular activities such as conducting art project, workshop or gathering, etc., which base on the conceptual question " How to transform from acting to action", ZeroStation will start to focus to the subject of artistic production; the artist
One of two new forms of projects is to organize/curate the events or exhibitions of individual artists who are living and working in Saigon or beyond. These individual artists are the ones that we consider original artists with strong determination in examining new discursive issues for Vietnamese contemporary art (1)
The exhibition of the art project "Plastic bags" (2) by artist Truong Thien is very one of these projects (3) Accompanying with the exhibition there will be a colorful bilingual catalogue and an artist and curator talk section.
We really hope in the future we can introduce some more new artists and art projects who/which present some more new way of practicing contemporary art and by which suggest some more new discursive issues for Vietnam's contemporary art scene.

(1)The second one is running the project based on the model of art residency program in which one artist from overseas or other cities in Vietnam will be invited or will be accepted their application to ZeroStation Residency program. In this residency program, normally in one month, they will collaborate with one or more local artists to make art or cultural project.
(2) See the curatorial essay for the project which is printed in the catalogue
(3) The premier of the first three-color channel film of a Vietnamese artist ( The flim "Into the sea", by Le Brothers), or the performance "Allegry" by artist Ngo Thi Thuy Duyen, etc., could also be considered some events under this new form.
